Analytical uncertainty

Uncertainty is calculated based on information from the internal and external AQC, according to:

ISO 11352:2012, Estimation of measurement uncertainty based on validation and quality control data.

The combined uncertainty and the expanded uncertainty for k=2 (95% probability level) are calculated for each variable from the results of control charts which are routinely analysed in the laboratory and from at least six samples of intercalibration exercises (proficiency tests) which the laboratory took part to.
